  The people were great but the food prices advertised online were cheaper than the actual prices on the menu when I arrived at the restaurant.
  
  The assorted seafood platter is claim to be America's best, don't waste your time getting it. I was very disappointed, had to go to Popeyes to get more food.
  
  Popeyes, which is a couple stores down sucked as well. The staff was slow and unorganized and the manager was sweaty.

  Old historic restaurant that looks the same, including menu, as my first visit over 30 years ago. Staff is always friendly and welcoming and it's easy to see who the regulars are. If you haven't been in awhile, go reminisce and enjoy a great meal. If you've never been, go and make your own memories soon!

  My first visit there. The employees were all nice and the place was festive. No frills and I like that. However, the music was so loud you could barely have a conversation with your dinner guest. It was so loud in fact, the waiters and waitresses were having a difficult time hearing you place your order. I had fried catfish. It was cooked more like splatter a little batter on it and throw it in the oven. Then a young man kept coming by the table wanting to take our plates and we had just gotten them. So loud music, waiters and waitresses that can't hear you and then the rush to get you out. It felt like they were herding cattle. Everyone was friendly but when paying that kind of money for a dinner you would think as a customer, you would get more consideration. Not sure I will go back.

  Old school food and atmosphere. Don't go here expecting a light meal or vegetarian options. Go here for a birthday and get the onion rings.
